HomeRateMap is a lead generation and referral service. We connect homeowners who are interested in solar panel installation and/or roofing services with licensed contractors in our network who serve the homeowner's geographic area. HomeRateMap is not a contractor and does not perform any installation, repair, or construction services.
Our service is free to homeowners. We receive compensation from contractors and/or lead aggregation platforms when a successful match is made between a homeowner and a contractor.
2. Eligibility
By using this Site, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You are a legal resident of the United States
- You have the legal authority to authorize work on the property you are inquiring about (i.e., you own the property or have owner authorization)
- All information you submit is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge
- You are not submitting a quote request on behalf of a competitor or for research purposes without our express written consent
3. Quote Request Submissions
When you submit a quote request form on our Site, you understand and agree that:
- Your contact information will be shared with licensed contractors and/or lead aggregation partners who serve your area
- You may be contacted by multiple contractors regarding your quote request
- Receiving a quote does not obligate you to hire any contractor
- HomeRateMap does not guarantee that any contractor will contact you, that any quote will meet your expectations, or that any specific pricing will be available
- Contractors are independent third parties and HomeRateMap is not responsible for their actions, omissions, work quality, licensing status, or pricing
4. TCPA Consent
By submitting a quote request, you provide your prior express written consent under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and applicable state laws to be contacted by HomeRateMap and contractors in our network at the phone number and email address you provided, including via autodialed calls, prerecorded messages, and SMS/text messages. Standard message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of receiving quotes or purchasing any service.
You may revoke consent at any time by replying STOP to any SMS, clicking unsubscribe in any email, or calling us at (702) 000-0000.
5. Accuracy of Information
We strive to ensure that the content on our Site — including information about incentive programs, tax credits, utility rates, and contractor licensing requirements — is accurate and current. However, solar and roofing incentives change frequently. We make no warranty that any specific incentive, rebate, or credit described on our Site will be available to you at the time you proceed with a project. Always verify current incentive availability with your contractor and relevant government agencies before making financial decisions.
6. Contractor Relationships
Contractors who receive leads through HomeRateMap are independent businesses, not employees, agents, or partners of HomeRateMap. We do not endorse any specific contractor, guarantee the quality of their work, or assume liability for any contractor's actions or omissions. You are solely responsible for evaluating contractors, verifying their licensing and insurance, and making your own hiring decisions.
If you have a dispute with a contractor, you should contact that contractor directly and/or your state contractor licensing board.
7. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Site to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Site using automated means
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate the Site's content or structure for competitive purposes
- Interfere with the security or proper functioning of the Site
- Violate any applicable local, state, or federal laws or regulations
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site — including text, page copy, design elements, graphics, and the overall compilation of the Site — is the property of HomeRateMap and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in Clark County, Nevada. You waive any right to a jury trial or class action participation in connection with any dispute arising under these Terms.
